«BIO-EXPO 2025» celebrates its fifteenth anniversary this year
The show is spread over 3 days and tends to bring together the industries ranging from the agricultural domain, the beauty sector and the natural health.
It is a meeting between the professionals and the general public which aims to promote and enhance the organic sector, the well-being, the conventional as well as the local products.
Tunisia now ranks 23rd in the world in terms of organic farmland. In fact,the farming areas are now 20 times larger than in 2001.
First place worldwide in terms of olive production surface area and first in Africa in terms of approved farming area and exported products.
Tunisia exports to over 20 countries and the international demand is steadily increasing .
The consumption of organic products strengthens the immune system and preserves the environment.
Several programs will be suggested to reduce pesticide use and land degradation as well as the introduction of “organic” products in restaurants, health facilities and school canteens.
